With our entrepreneurial actions, we, Hessenkemper GmbH, are part of the national and or international value chain of our customer. In accordance with our corporate guideline, we are committed to economic, social and ecological action. We examine human rights and sustainability criteria in our part of the value chain; this includes both our own corporate division and our direct suppliers. We already assume responsibility in our business activities in our part of the customer/supplier supply chain, even though we are not obliged to do so under the EU directive, neither due to our company size nor because we belong to a risk industry.
We monitor and check the behaviour of our suppliers and, if possible, also of our sub-suppliers and document this information and compare it with our own behaviour and specifications.
The following essential points are criteria for dealing with our suppliers. Compliance is an obligation for us and our suppliers.

Prohibition of discrimination, forced labour, modern slavery, human trafficking, child labour, statutory minimum wage - Environment
ompliance with applicable national laws to prevent environmental damage and air pollution; resource-conserving use of air, water, energy and waste - Ethics
Fair competition, anti-corruption, compliance with export control and customs laws, data protection, and data security
